OK. I've read all your answers, and going back to the original thread my choice would have to be Alex Hughes, without a doubt!!
Sensitive, caring, and civilised.......but maybe with Snape's dress sense.
Love the whole black thing he's got going on! Especially the boots and the coat!
Colonel Brandon is a bit too soft for my liking, David Weinberg is a big jerk, Phil Allen would probably be second on my list, love his sideburns, ummmm.......... this could go on for ever.....Franz Anton Mesmer, for his sensitive hands would be a must...............Ed the painter is pretty cool, although he's got a bizarre taste in checked trousers....Jamie is nice and sensitive, although I don't like the 'tache much........Judge Turpin...gold tight trousers....

No, Alex Hughes! Even looks good in women's clothes!!

I must admit I hid my writing in this thread instead of posting it to the fanfic section because I haven't found a beta yet and I definitely need a native speaker to check my grammar, spelling and idioms for me before I can call this a serious attempt at fanfic, LOL.
I'm so happy you like it so far!
Snape is definitely going to be a key figure in the story. Love him!

I'll definitely include Colonel Brandon, just thought it wiser not to introduce everyone in the same chapter. Some characters are still in the rooms upstairs.
Jamie's arrival is also already scheduled, but as far as I'm concerned, you can have him - I hate it when a room is a sauna, and I quite like my carpet the way it is Wink

. The only problem I have with Alex Hughes is that I haven't seen Snow Cake yet - it's next on my to-do list (I almost said "he" is next on my to-do list, but that would have been a bit misleading, wouldn't it?). Embarassed
