@Magenta--it won't be the 1st time I've seen TMD, I love it already, that's why I wanted a copy, it's not something you can just rent here when you want to see it.
@Jacksl and Velouria--I don't usually have lots of money to spare either, and it's a ridiculous amount for a DVD, but I still have vacation money they paid me from leaving St. Elizabeth's, so I'm using some of that! It's not something I would normally do, either! _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

You go for it, Nora!!!
You have to treat yourself occasionally, and buying an Alan DVD is the best thing to spend your money on!!!
I will buy Close My Eyes eventually...no matter the cost....because I'm going to complete my collection....simple as that!!
I'm with you on this, Nora...it's just a shame that things that we can buy so cheaply in this country...you can't in yours, and vice versa! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

I found 6 copies of Close My Eyes at £24.99. Don't know if they made a mistake, and changed the price.....but that is still way better than any other price I've seen....I'm watching it every day to see if they sell...I may buy one next week.....thanks for making me check again!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

The used copies have different prices. Maybe the cheaper ones where snatched up before you got to the website. I hope you will find one whose price you can justify. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

I was channel surfing Monday, and found an episode of
The Directors about Anthony Minghella, so I thought I should watch it. About 3 minutes later, they start talking about TMD and showed some clips, and then a short interview with Alan talking about Mr. Minghella. This was all apparently put together before he died as there was no sort of talk about "he was" or "what a loss" or anything.
Still, it was a good program, and what a bonus to have a few minutes of Alan, unexpectedly on a Monday morning! (now THAT'S a thought, isn't it??? ) _________________ ~~~Nora~~~
