Was that song version in the play or did they actually film it? I loved the song Johanna and I woulda loved it more if Alan would have sang it. |
It's in the play and it was the thing I was looking forward to the most when I heard AR was to play the Judge...so was my Gran and we were sooo disappointed but I'm pretty sure the rest of the family were quite relieved...It could have been Dark Harbour all over again!!! |

His voice would have been perfect for that song. _________________ "I'm a lot less serious than people think,

Finally! I got to see ST last night.
Unfortunately, the couple in the seat next to me ruined Alan's first appearance a little by arguing too loudly, "That's Professor Snape from Harry Potter!" - "No, that's not him!" -"Yes, he is!" -"Are you sure? No way!" -"I'm telling you, it's him!" I was one minute away from leaning over to them and saying: "Yes, it's Professor Snape, and Mrs Lovett is Bellatrix, can you shut up now?" The next step would have been borrowing the barber's knives...
Feel a bit sorry for Johnny Depp for not getting the Oscar, I thought he was brilliant. _________________

yes i saw sweeney todd 7 times in theatres....haha. I am obsessed...but mostly I saw it because of Alan rickman AND the movie itself. i ADORE the musical and it was done so brillantly for film. I wish I could of played Johanna though, would have had a scene with alan! lol _________________ "You people. If there isn't a movie about it, it's not worth knowing, is it? "

LMAO!! I'm the same way. When I went to see it the first time, I told my friend that I was with that I would answer any questions she had about what was going on at any time during the movie.... but if she talked to me while Alan was on the screen she wouldn't leave the theater alive LOL _________________ ~*~ Beth ~*~ |
