From now on, none of your fics will feel complete without a tall, swedish brunette as the heroine
And I am a singer, so if the Judge needs a duet-partner, I'm there for him! |

I can hardly believe it --- my ST DVD is here! From the UK to Germany in two days without priority mail is a new record. We have a public holiday tomorrow, so I didn't think I'd get it before the weekend. Life is good!
@Marie: sorry, no singing in "The Invisible Girl" (my Judge fic). There will be some singing in MSITW, but I'm afraid Semp is going to star as the Judge's duet partner. I can't afford to get on her bad side, you'll understand _________________

You are a lucky girl! To spend he holiday with a brand new Alan-dvd sounds perfect!
And I think Semp is going to be a perfect duet partner to the Judge, I'll just stick to singing to Brandon!
Hope we can all read your Judge fic when it's done! |

OK, tortured the boyfriend with my Sweeney Todd DVD all evening. He was so cute, tried to protest "But we've already seen it!" Then I reminded him that I spent two hours in the presence of his mother today and was thus entitled to choose the programme.
My copy had an advertisement for the London Dungeon in it, has anybody else got that?
"Experience for yourself the intense crimes of ST himself as you have a seat in his demon barber shop of Fleet Street. A short back and sides (1785-style) could be just the thing to round off your visit to the dungeons... but keep your wits about you to make sure you don't become the filling in Mrs Lovett's famous pies."
How creepy is that?! I was already scared to death in Chamber Live at Mme Tussaud's... _________________

Eustacia, I would say that this is the British sense of humour. And next time I am in London I will pay the London Dungeon a visit. Strange, now with the reference to one of Alan's parts I think I will be able to handle it. Even though I do not think they modelled it after the film. Well, they might do this now. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

I was at the London Dungeons many years ago, with a friend of mine.
I was really scared the whole time, but I loved it! The people walking around in there as ghosts and whatever were totally scary, and evidentally found it fun to scare the hell out of us poor swedish girls, every corner we turned there was someone jumping out, almost giving us heart attacks every time! But I really love a good scare, so it was all good! |

Does anyone have any sane ideas as to why "The Renal Ward of Great Ormond Street Hospital" gets special thanks from the Producers at the end of the credits??!!! |

I must have missed that!! No idea! Unless they all went to visit them while filming, and promised them a mention....otherwise...no idea!
I'm intrigued to know why now, though!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

I had to look up what "The Renal Ward of Great Ormond Street Hospital" would be. This is a hospital for very ill children. I think it is a way of cheering the people who work there. There might be some connection to the filming. It is either this or a way to draw awarness and maybe making people think about it. That is what happened to me. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

The renal ward is where kidney dialysis is done both in-patient and out-patient. It would most likely also be the home of the kidney transplant centre. In this case, for children. This is an area which I support whole-heartedly through donations or charity drives. My father was on kidney dialysis for 5 years and received a donor kidney 6 years ago successfully. He went through hell waiting for a new kidney and then recouperating. I can't even image a child having to go through this. Maybe a donation was made to the hospital? _________________

Johnny Depp donated a million pounds to the hospital because his daughter caught a bacterial poisoning and was treated at the hospital with kidney failure while Sweeney Todd was filmed. Here's the article:
