Theoretically, it would be July for me too, but I ordered from British Amazon. I already know most of it by heart anyway from the soundtrack, so why wait for a DVD with about five dubbed German sentences and subtitles I'm going to turn off anyway?

I suggest you order from British Amazon. I do not think the Swedish release will be better than the British one. There will not be more material and the songs are not translated anyway. And I am sure you prefer the Alan's voice version anyway...  So don't suffer.

| Yeah, maybe I will order it earlier and not wait for it to come out here. But there is also a question of money, I am really poor right now, and hope that I will have a bit more money to move around with in a couple of months. Since I became single I have been out partying a lot more, and I had kind of forgotten how expensive that can be... But I chose Alan over parties, so maybe... |

I've already warned Andrew and my son, Alex, that they are watching Sweeney Todd tomorrow night, whether they like it or not!!!

Enjoy your parties, Marie! I love Alan, but hanging out with my friends is infinitely more important than watching a DVD! And you're probably right, once the movie's out, there'll be better bargains. I had the same problem with "The Sentinel"- I'm a fan of both Michael Douglas and Eva Longoria, but the UK import was very expensive (30 euros on Amazon) and the German DVD unavailable. I chose not to buy the UK DVD and got the movie for as little as 8 euros in the end.

Okay, Marie, going out with friends is probably the more important investment right now. Is the expected diffenence in prices that high? I have not investigated yet.
