I think the drink is a gin and tonic (the green is lime, maybe?)
As far as the other... I thought vertical stripes were supposed to make you look SMALLER...

Well, considering metallics and spandex make one look LARGER... I think you're right, Nora. The stripes keep him from being accosted... the gold spandex pants??? I don't think he'd be safe!!
