I just love the Sheriff! Why Marian would ever even look at boring Robin when she can have the hot sheriff is just a mystery!
My friends all thought that Kevin Costner was cute, but I totally fell for Alans wonderful Sheriff. The voice! The eyes! He´s just the best villain ever! I just love it when he´s really upset and says "...and call of christmas"! (or something like that).
Hm, I have the afternoon off, I think I´m gonna go home and watch it on dvd... Good plan! |

I love Alan as the Sheriff. I watched this film long time ago and he actually made it worth watching. I've never liked Kevin Costner (or 'Kotsner', as I always call him ('kots' is the Dutch word for vomit )) and I couldn't stand him as the great, big, boring hero. I'd pick the Sheriff over him anytime. _________________

Kotsner! Why did I never think of that?
Now we have to find a nickname for Bruce Willis. I hate him. _________________ I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death... |

I simply refer to Bruce Willis as 'The Vest' !! the thing is virtually indestructable!!!!!! Bullet proof, bomb proof, glass proof. He should offer it to the US military!!

This is exactly what my sister and I said when we watched this recently! And check out that little leg spreading movement he did with Marion at the "wedding"... whoa! Wonder who wrote *that* into the script? It's hilarious just to even think about! |

I just watched the DVD again...yeah, I have the extended edition...
I actually found myself cackling my head off as our fabulous Alan wiped the floor with Kevin and Christian.
Let's be honest...no one cares much about Whatsisname Costner or
BlahblahBlah Slater anymore, but Alan is even more popular and successful now than he was back in the days of over-gelled spikey haircuts and day-glo socks. |

Robin Hood was the first Rickman's movie I ever saw...I think I was 6-7 years old,and at the moment I saw the Sheriff I feel in love (yeah I was a weird kid falling in love with men older than my dad ahahaha)
I won the dvd froma friend and then my dad saw and I don't know why he created a nickname for Alan,he calls him Prince John...I tried to explain several times that is the Sheriff not Prince anything ahaha but there is no solution ...everytime he sees me watching an Alan's movie he says: Not again that Prince John...
weird... _________________ Icon by http://misslillyblacks.livejournal.com/ |

Well it is George not John, but maybe your dad has a special sense of humor that my German head is not quite able to follow. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

So you get teased by your family for liking Alan...
Hm, I am quite glad that my family only rolls eyes and does not say too much. Although my mother asked whether I would not like to have such a nice step-dad... _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

He's old enough to be my father too but I definitely don't feel daughterly either. Not even slightly.

I have to say, I haven't "come out" to my family yet. My friends have their own guilty pleasures, so it was okay, but I don't think I'm ready for my 16 year old brother and sister to mock me about "fancying old men" just quite yet ha! _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice?
