So last night I was walking thru my living room, where the TV was on, and no one was even in the room. apparently the TIVO, being the smart little peice of equipment that it is, had changed channels to the Hallmark channel (I think) because I had set it up to record Quigley, but I had forgotten about it!
so, I walked thru, and there's Alan, close up, on my TV!!! looking gorgeous as Marston!!
well, I paused the TIVO (love that thing) and got my drink, put on my jammies, and sat my self down to have a couple of hours with Alan and Mr. Selleck (who's not a bad looking guy himself)
We haven't said alot about Marston here, and no one has invited him to our fanfic. but he doesn't have alot of redeeming qualities, does he? besides being hot, and wearing that sexy outfit! Alan has a very...elegant build, very slim, looks nice in clothes, I like that.
Marston does have a very nice voice (wonder where he got that?) (and anyones voice is nicer that Tom S's, it's a little whiney)
oh well, my 2 cents worth on Marston.
the movie itself isn't that great, I'm not into westerns... _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

I'm not really into Westerns either, but I did enjoy this one.
I realise that I enjoy ANYTHING with Alan in...I'm losing my ability to critique as I grow more fond of him.
He does look damn hot in this though! But, you're quite right, Nora, he definitely does not have many redeeming features... but that's Alan...I think he enjoys the challenge of a nasty character...and that he can make us fall for them...ooh he's so sneaky!!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

maybe part of the appeal for an actor for a "villain" or a not so nice character, is to put something into them to make the viewers like them anyway, or at least find something redeeming about them. or in Alan's case, find them so sexy that you can look past their true nature! _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

I have watched Quickley again. I had seen it before, rented it from a video store. I had not taken notice of Alan then. Too scary too dangerous too sexy...
But the story is still worth watching. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

I haven't seen this one before, thanks for posting it again!
Mr Marston - yes, he's evil, and what makes him so scary is that there were probably hundreds of wealthy cattle barons with that very attitude in reality. BUT I still want to tie him to my bedpost for punishment _________________

I bet Marston would prefer to do the tying. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

hmmm...Col. Brandon you could trust with that sort of thing, with Marston, you'd better stay in control, he's a little scary... _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

I could deal with detention with Snape, but Marston... I would prefer to stay away from him, he is too young anyway. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |
