You seem to be the resident authority on Phantom of the Opera, so maybe you can tell me where I can find out who is playing what role and where. "Phantom" is in Syracuse, NY right now and my sister-in-law and I have been thinking of going, but we don't want to go without getting some kind of review first. So is there a website I can go to, or might you know? Thanks very much!

That's the national tour, it's still in Ottawa right now, but it's moving on to Syracuse on the 12th. I can tell you that the touring cast is my absolute favorite of them all (I've also seen the Broadway and London casts). John Cudia is playing the Phantom and he's absolutely brilliant. The new Raoul is also fantastic and I think they've just gotten a new Christine who is much better than Marni Raab.

I can't stress enough how much I enjoy seeing the tour cast perform, they are definitely worth a trip.

since you live in the UK (right?) how is it that you get over here to see Phantom so much??

I'm just in the UK at the moment (for the next 5 months actually). I live in Atlanta, GA, so although I'm nowhere near NYC or the tour (unless it comes down south), I save to make trips to see it every once in a while.

Thanks very much! That helps out a lot. I have never seen Phantom before but have always wanted to. This will be an awesome opportunity!
