Gary Oldman is fantastic, but he's not my type. But I would watch any film his is in based on how I feel about his acting talents

Ditto, Velouria.

My sister is a huge fan if his though and collects all his movies.

Oh! Poor Magenta! You have my sympathies! Bronchitis is the worst! I've had it now for over 3 weeks....I've had 2 courses of antibiotics which have done NOTHING! This means it's viral and I've got to let nature take it's course!! Sucks! Now, the virus has moved and I have heavy sinusitis...my face hurts!! Every time I bend forward my cheeks hurt so much, it makes my eyes water!!

You take care Magenta and get better QUICKLY...don't let it drag on.....take all the drugs you can!!! (prescribed from a doctor of course)

Best Wishes
JackieXXX

Hope you get better soon Jackie and Magenta! Very Happy

(Jackie -I can understand your frustration with it being viral, I had tonsilitis for a month back in october, the antibiotics did nothing, it was horrible. I was eating soup and ice cream for agggees!)

It's very hard to just let something run it's course, in this day and age of medical miracles, you'd think we could take care of common viruses...
as a nurse, I know better, and I know we shouldn't take antibiotics for colds and such, but I still want one when I'm sick....
sucks

My MD says that taking antibiotics supports my system to fight the viruses by getting rid of the unfriendly bacterias. I know this idea is obsolet. But I was in such a bad state and I had no better idea. At least my voice is back. But I am coughing like mad. Í hope to get back to work on Monday.

YIKES Bronchitis is horrible. I've been born with bronical asthma, and when ever I get a cold I'd have to take care of it right away or it would get into my lungs and then the bronchitis and asthma would hit me.
I hate that cough too you get. It feels like needles in your chest and throat. Plus if you get the breathing problems on top of it, it's like hell.

I know how you feel hon, it's not fun. Get well soon and take care.

that exact same thing happens to me, it starts in my head, then after 2 or 3 days, I feel it working it's way down my throat, into my chest. then I end up with bronchitis for weeks. you feel horrible, like an elephant is sitting on your chest...but all this didn't start unitl I was about 23, that's when I had this bad, bad cold that wouldn't go, turned into bronchitis, and when I went to the DR, he diagnosed me with asthma. (my husband had made fun of me the summer before for being out of breath when we ran across the park, I was very skinny then, so it wasn't that I was out of shape...)

I've found that my symptoms aren't as bad as they were when I was younger. But still, I get that rattling wheeze on damp days or when it's cold out, that's the worst!

I also now live in a city where there isn't as much smog as where I used to live. So that also helps quite a bit.

Ack...Magenta, I hope you're feeling better! I had bronchitis a couple years ago, and DO NOT wish that on anyone!

Here's another smexy man to make you feel better. Gerard Butler. *DROOL* He's scottish, so he has that amazing accent that makes us all melt.

And freaking hooray for hot guys in kilts!

Shocked
WOO-HOO!
Greyspark, you need to repost that over in the booklovers section, where we had digressed into a discussion of Scottish men, and it was I, yes I, me, NORA, who has been insisting on Gerry Butler has a top-notch Scottish hottie!!
NICE....I'm all for men in kilts, especially when they look like that!
