He's just aggressive and nasty and not in a way that might make him appealing to me!

I have to agree with you Skittlebunny, he does nothing for me,...he's an arrogant pr*@k (please excuse language). Loves himself far too much, and just lately I've been hearing a lot of stories about how all his "Kitchen Nightmares" shows are staged to make him look like a saviour! He has ruined peoples lives...NAH!! Won't go there!

I think he has a really hot body. Embarassed But I know if he worked in my bar/restaurant I would dread coming to work. I'd tell him to F*** off and quit the first day I walked in the door, than to be treated at work like that.
I've worked for some nasty head chefs but nothing like that. I agree you have to have top quality food going out to customers but to be talked down to like that, If he worked for someone else, he would be fired.
At one place called Deco I used to work at as a line cook, the head chef once called the sous-chef a stupid A-hole and a customer over heard it, he got reprimanded big time and his temper continued and he was eventually fired.

I don't know if it's a gimmick of his as a "bad boy chef" or what. You would have to do something because basing a tv show on working in a kitchen alone is not that exciting. Trust me, I've worked in the food and beverage service for 12 or so years. Over all, it's boring lol.

I don't know, something is hot about him to me. Razz He seems to be one of them guys who look really sexy until they open their mouths Laughing
He does look his hottest when he's bent over to get things out of the ovens and whatnot LOL

My goal is tonight though, not to look like I"m thrilled to see Alan Rickman naked since I'm going to be watching Dark Harbor with my guy. Hehe.

Admittedly, he's not got a bad body, but his personality ruins it for me....and I know all about head chefs....I'm married to one!!! Laughing
They are temperamental toddlers most of the time!

How do you get your man to watch Alan with you????...mine is so jealous I can't even bring him up in conversation without him taking the mickey out of him!

My ex was a big Die Hard-fan, so that we could watch together, for completely different reasons of course Twisted Evil If we would have watched Dark Harbour together, he would probably have fallen asleep after five minutes...
On the Gordon Ramsey- subject, for me I think it's much a language thing, if he was swedish I would probably think nothing of him. It's just cuter when peopla are yelling in english... Plus I think he has a cute smile...and the body isn't that bad either...

He already likes Alan's acting..but never seen dark harbor. He knows I think Alan's hot, but he doesn't know about "that scene" in dark harbor. I don't think he's going to be amused when he sees it LOL. I can hear his little remarks now "Psh, I look better naked. I'm not some sixty year old man." hehe. He likes Alan's acting, but is sort of jealous in a cute way over him since he knows I adore Alan.

Then again I get the same way when some of his actress crushes come on screen so we're even Wink [/quote]

Hi Marie, why don't you go back to that library in Saturday? Maybe you meet that nice man again. He might like to help out and play some Christopher part.

My boyf. likes Alan's acting, but he rolls his eyes while we watch it (i tend to have a goofy smile on my face when he comes on screen- he's just awesome, hehe. or maybe it's because I know the bf is watching my reaction. . . )

For him to refuse would be a bit hypocritical, I don't avoid watching films with angelina jolie or whoever. I think he doesn't understand how I can find a 60+ year old man attractive though. I've tried explaining it, but I think its a female thing to prefer older guys. That might be a root of the problem with my bf- he has a lack of experience, and by that I mean life experience, he has a tendancy to be naive which annoys me a bit. (rant over)

About Gordon Ramsey's body- still don't get it. Possibly because I have to find something attractive in the face to find someone attractive, and Gordon Ramsey's face is not good. Probably all that fury, not good for the complexion! Laughing

Very true...his complexion must be full of broken blood vessels from the ranting and shouting......but, if you put a paper bag over his head...he's passable Laughing Laughing !!

Not in the same league as Alan though, never will be...he has no charm or elegance or sophistication !!

I like to watch Hell's Kitchen, but I don't find Gordon Ramsey at all attractive. I know it sounds evil, but I like watching it because it amazes me how he can reduce adult males into whimpering puppies. I think the women on the show are usually WAYYYY tougher than the guys... By the way, who got sent home last episode? I was out on Tuesday nite doing some shopping and missed it! Sad

Gordon Ramsey... oh dear, no. He is not my type at all. I just don't get it - but each to his/her own, right?

On a completely random note, I just found out that my current crush Steve Coogan was the executive producer for Snow Cake! Two of my favourite guys working on one film! He runs Baby Cow productions who do loads of BBC stuff; he also produced The Mighty Boosh, which is fantastic.

Very Happy

Vanessa went home (on her own accord) because of her burnt hand. She went and told Chef she was in pain and if she couldn't cook to her full capability than she didn't want to be there. He didn't send anyone home last night. He made both teams choose someone but then said the only leaving tonight already left. So now that really started some heat between both teams for putting people up on the block.
I was hopping he'd send Matt home. Matt gets on my nerves. Plus he looks like a serial killer. That man creeps me out. lol

As well I watched Dark Harbor with my boyfriend...he automatically turned to look at me while Alan was stripping it off. HAHA, I tried to keep it cool..or thought I did. He said "It's probably a body double."
I said "What?"
"Him naked there."
"Oh, he's naked? I didn't notice" and I cracked up laughing.
He said "Yeah right you pervert." Laughing

Lol Kat! If I manage to get my hands on that film, I may watch it without the bf present. . .it sounds like a scene where outside scrutiny would put me into fits of giggles! Laughing

He acts like a surgeon! they think they're god, better than everyone, they can treat people like sh*t, say what they want, doesn't matter what they do or say, because the hospital admin. will kiss their *ss, because they bring in mega tons of money. Met several of those!

your Stephen deserves to be kept. I like his sense of humour and I am glad he is confident enough to deal with Alan.
