I think the combination of talent and good looks is really important, but I would rather watch an actor that is just talented than one who is just good looking.
On the Bill Nighy subject, I just loved him in Notes on a scandal, wich is a brilliant film! |

I think Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) and Thomas Gibson (agent Aaron Hotchner at Criminal Minds) are very handsome too
Eric Dane (McSteamy at Grey's Anatomy) is so sexy
and some more but, I believe, there's only a one person who plays as well as Alan: Michael Caine! they are briliant acting! (but Alan has charming too apart talent)
and....good actresses ... Emma Thompson (of course) Maggie Smith, Julie Andrews and Judi Dench _________________

Several of us have said that we like Hugh Laurie and enjoy House, MD. I was looking around fanfiction.net and found this cute parody fanfic. (I love parodies!)
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4101093/1/When_House_Discovers_Fanfiction
it's short, but fun!

I have three neices and they have all had strawberry blonde hair. I think it's gorgeous. I think that there is a high chance of me having red-headed babies. _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

[quote="Centurienne"]I think Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) quote]
I've been watching Richard Dean Anderson, and admiring what I'm seeing, since the 70's (way back when I was a teenager!)
He was on General Hospital (a US soap) as Dr. Jeff Weber, very cute!
Then he went on to become MacGyver, which is almost a verb now, you hear them say it on TV shows and movies--"did you MacGyver that thing?"etc.
Then the last several years, he's been on Stargate SG1, which my husband and son are addicted to, so I can get my RDA fix. Talk about looking good for his age! Of course, this last year he left the show and then they ended it....
So, if you think about it, he's been one of the most consistently employed and successful TV actors in the business for 30 years (he's been producing and directing SG1 and probably did MacGyver, too)
I'm sure we'll see him around somewhere, tho!

So here it goes again.

Confessions? OK. Just a random list, no particular order, some of them great actors, some high droolability factor, some both, though I'm not going to judge who is what :
Sam Neill (I'm probably the only person on the planet who wanted Damien to win!), Michael Douglas, Tom Hanks, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Josh Holloway (he made me watch commercials when he became the European Davidoff man), Julian McMahon, Colin Firth, James Marsters. _________________

Oooohhh, Tony Curtis was positively dreamy... (that's me being all 1950's)... he was good looking then, though. I thought Burt Lancaster was pretty handsome, too. _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

I always watched the classics with my grandpa when I was a kid... I remember being rather fond of Gregory Peck and Jimmy Stewart, too. _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |
