Basically, the servers, which provide the power for forums can struggle. It SHOULDN'T be too serious, but the problems my boyfriend has encountered on his forums aren't as severe as ours. It is also a problem that our administrator isn't around, because if something goes wrong, ultimately, she is the one who has to fix it, so a secondary forum is a very good idea.
Basically, when I registered, I was told I would be sent an email which would contain an activation code. I never got the email, when I try to sign in, it claims I'm not registered, when I try to re-register, it says there is already someone with my email. It is possible that I typed something in wrong however. . . It can happen! I will try again and see what happens. |

Ah, ok, I see. Maybe the activation e-mail got stuck in the spam?
Anyway, if you don't activate the account (for whatever reason), the message that there already is someone with your e-mail should expire automatically and you should be able to re-register.
We'll see, let's hope our forum will be working, but it's a good idea to have a "backup forum". _________________

I agree with Eustacia!! Think about it...how many times have you tried to search for something on the internet and not been able to find it????
If someone does stumble across our site, what's the chances of us knowing them and vice versa?? I don't think we've got anything to worry about!!
But I do like the safety feature on the new site!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

Yeah, the Internet is most definitely a fluid thing... My mother once looked for a pumpkin muffin recipe and I don't even want to tell you what she came up with!!
One of my co-workers at my old job found this site and asked me if I was a member (they knew I was "into" Alan Rickman)... I denied it... I then came home and freaked a little and edited out anything I had written about work!! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

Just thought you might want to be made aware... |
