| I'll never forget the first time I saw this actor in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" way back in '91 or '92. I watched it on video, mesmerized, didn't even get up off the couch for sodas and kept wondering how Kevin Costner could stand being so completely eclipsed by Alan's performance. Not that I've ever thought much of Costner, but AR totally OWNED the film from his first scene. I was instantly hooked. He plays the kind of characters I would love to play. If I was a guy. And an actor. And physically, he is just SO incredibly charismatic and attractive. That voice of his, as rich as clotted cream...when I heard him read the Shakespeare sonnet 130, I nearly went up in flames! Holy Cow...I know he must hate all the silly fangirl nonsense, but with his brand of mojo, it's just inevitable. |

Very well put, I must say. Hate it or not I'm afraid we ladies simply have no control over it. He really is just that seductive. _________________

I agree. I have no control over it either.
Welcomed!

Totally agree. There is something about him that just gets - and keeps you - hooked! Sad to say, but I do listen to him at night with headphones as he recites The Return of the Native to fall asleep...great to have such an understanding hubby or I might be divorced... |
