As some of you may already know my myspace page is dedicated to Steve Priest. He has been gigging accross the US and Canada and I have been 'keeping my eye on things' . The page has now got video footage of his gigs on there for anyone who is interested and wants to hear some great rock music. Here is the link. www.myspace.com/stevepriestfanspace

Thank you Divas for accepting my "MySpace-frienship".
Lorraine, your Tribute Page is very interesting and informative. I am going to buy some Sweet Music on CD. The vinyls are all at my brother's. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

Thanks Magenta, Steve is more an obsession than Alan (sorry girls am I allowed to say that here). I highly recommend you getting Desolation Boulevard and Sweet Fanny Adams as starters for your cd collection, both brialliant!

Sure you are, Lorraine. I think we all have our other interests... for me it's David Tennant, and I know the other Divas have mentioned their interests as well. I think a person completely Alan-obsessed without any other interests might be a little SCARY...
And BTW, your page is great. You've done such a classy job on it. I've checked out other fan pages on MySpace and they're either cheesy or bordering on the psychotic. Yours is first-rate! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman

Thanks! I want people to see what great music Sweet performed over the years. They are very unappreciated in my opinion. Bass players in general are unappreciated too, after all who listens to the bassline. Yet without it the music has no depth or rhythm. Steve is one of the best bassists out there, he's my rock god!!
I had a great deal of help putting my page together, from someone who knows what they are doing, unlike me!! I enjoyed doing all the research too. Thanks for your kind comments.

The bass player usually is the very nice guy in a band.
Herbert Grönemeyer wrote a song about a deaf girl. There is a line that goes almost like that.
The man of my dreams is a bass man, the tickle in my stomach drives me crazy.
Well in German it sounds nicer but the sentiment comes across, doesn't it?
And yes we are allowed to fan for other people too. Thank God for that. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

OOPS!!! I'm scary!!! He's my one and only!!! I've NEVER been obsessed with anyone else before.....He's completely steamrollered me.....it's never happened before! I don't think I'm quite mad and scary yet!! (you may think differently ) _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

Nah, you're not scary Jackie... No scarier than the rest of us, anyway...
Of course Alan's my fave too... He's been an obsession of mine since I was a teenager (that was too damn long ago to mention)...
Alan was my primo obsession until that David Tennant came in and threw a wrench in the whole thing... it's those dark eyes that did it! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |
