Can't you find a compromise? A picture of Alan for his celebrity/Hollywood woman of choice? That's how I sold the Alan picture to my BF. I get Alan and he gets Audrey Tatou! Where there's a will there's a way.

Those are almost as good as the real thing!
Gosh I really should have a go at drawing him myself...trouble is I'm stuck doing coursework so much of the time atm 
My current art project's "Animals"... Hmmm, I'll find a way to icorporate Alan in there somewhere |
