that is fantastic!! one of the best you've ever done! I have to admit, I love this series of pics of Alan with this little bit of scruff on his lip. and, Jacks, you've done a great job there.

Just got back to Liverpool and catching up with all I missed. that is an amazing drawing Jackie, definitely my fave so far! (my boyfriend thinks it's very good too) Very Happy

Hey Divas........I've agonised over this pic, because I'm not entirely happy with it. I've posted it on Deviantart, and not had one negative comment (I have had positive ones)....but you are the audience who knows it's subject!!!!!
Because it's so heavily shadowed, his features look different, but it's bugging me guys, because it's not right!!

If you can pin point whats wrong with this, so that I can correct it, please let me know. The reference pic I used is on page 4 of the DDG.

I personally think it's amazing. . .it's possibly something with the left eye that may be troubling you though, not entirely sure what it is though.

I opened the original pic in another window and flipped back and forth between them, and it's amazingly close! I love it, I wouldn't change anything at all! You're an amazing artist, Jackie!

ok, I just had a look at the original photo, and there is something very weird going on there, think it's to do with the light, but Alan looks a bit funny, so your left eye is right. I'm not sure you can do much better, after looking at the photo, I can't see anything wrong! Laughing

I think it's quite good, Jackie. I think his eyes look phenomenal. They look alive, almost with a tinge of sadness behind them. I think it's nice...
