Kate Bush- My all time fave...will never tire of listening to her

I love Kate Bush. I have The Whole Story (yeah I know that's a bit of a cheat) on Vinyl. I have The Kick Inside on CD. I love her voice. I remember hearing Wuthering Heights and getting obsessed with it as a teenager.

Does anyone here know "A Fine Frenzy"? I've heard her for the first time today and haven't been so touched by a voice in a long time. It's hard to believe she's only 22!

I just found my best friend's music on youtube, from a gig that she did in France. This isn't the best example of her vocal talents (in my opinion) but it gives you a feel for what she does.

What do you think?

I enjoyed this...she's not dissimilar to Kate Bush's singing style!!

You have a talented friend!!

Kooky is a good word. I would say that she has been influenced by Kate Bush, and she often says that Tori Amos and Annie Lennox are influences as well. I have high hopes for her, whenever she plays everyone listens and she always gets compliments. She's playing on Friday night in London so I'm going to see her. I can't wait, as usual!

She has a beautiful voice (I clicked on her myspace profile linked to the youtube clip, there are more sound samples available), and she has her own style, which is as important. Nothing's more sad than an artist you have forgotten ten seconds after he left the stage, and that would never happen to your friend.
Have a good time on Friday!

I like Iceland and Norway. I guess Ukraine have a good song, but it is a lot like swedish "Hero"....
And I thought Latvias "Wolves of the sea" was kind of fun....

What was going on with Spanish entry, though....that was a bit off the wall!!!!
Mind you....it wouldn't be Eurovision without the funny entries!!
I voted for 3 in the end.....Iceland, Finland and Turkey!!

UK will never win....we haven't got enough friends in Europe!!
(plus, I don't think they try hard enough with the songs any more.....it was a bit weak)

All good fun!! Let's see if my votes have done any good!

Yeah, Spain, was just weird. And France. (Sorry, spanish or french Divas!)
I didn't think the winning song was any good, but at least they had an ice-skater...
Oh well, it was fun to watch anyway!
