Velouria, what will you do in Wiltshire? Is it a tourist destination? Forgive my ignorance. |
Wiltshire should be a tourist destination....Michael Crawford was born there!
sorry, had to add that in...I have lots more Michael Crawford trivia available for all purposes...anytime...you can tie almost anything to him, ya know! _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

Maybe we should ask Madam to add a topic where we could put sub-topic or threats for different people. there would be a giant thing for Jason Isaacs I am sure of that. And there would be room for Michael Crawford too. I could rave about Gary Oldman all I want as anybody not interested could avoid it easily. And I could do it in a surrounding of good will. The worst that could happen to me here would be friendly pet on the head... As I understand both the Jason Isaacs and Gary Oldman thing, I'm not complaining, although Alan is still no.1 obviously! |

Nora seems to know lots of interesting people. Even if we do not share the "obsessive" part for some of them, there might be inspiration. And I am all for that. Broaden your Minds! _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

We have an "other manly interest" thread somewhere. One just for Jason Isaacs...YUM!!!
Sometimes I don't think about him for awhile, then I see a picture, and those eyes are just...wow!!!
I might go look that thread up now.... _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

My wonderful man took me away from here a few nights ago to Toronto and we saw Joe Cocker and the Steve Miller Band. We're both big fans of each. It was a fabulous 4 hour event out side under the moon and stars and the crowd (12000 strong!) we're wondrful. People from ages @20 - 70 all singing along. On the way home (a good 3 hour drive) we talked about how I was feeling about everything and how I was going to go forward. I am very emotional and he is very pragmatic. We balance each other out quite well. He calms me and I show him the colour in life. I really needed that night. _________________

Haha! Wiltshire is in the South West of England (towards Wales) and it's my home county. I went back to house-watch for my parents and catch up with old friends. I think it was really good for Nick and I to have some time together outside of the city. Plus it was a little anniversary for us... a year and nine months. So, naturally, we took advantage of the empty house...
Now, I'm back in London (we got here 20 minutes ago) and I'm going to work in 30 minutes. Yay (not).
As a side note: Wiltshire is quite popular with celebs, because it's close to Bath/Somerset. Madonna has a house in Wiltshire and Johnny Depp and Nicholas Cage have houses in Bath, which is a beautiful area. _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

Oh, ok, I know where you mean. I've been to Bath...to see the baths...total tourist experience but I loved it. _________________

I lived in Bath when I went to art college there. It's not so nice to live in! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

Well, not to change the subject, but I spotted a celebrity today. He actually was crossing the road in front of the building I work in, and he went into the hardware store next door! He was parked right in front of me across the street, and I ALMOST was able to snap a pic of him in close proximity to my car... (he was too fast!)
His name is Matt Malloy, and he's pretty much a character actor. He's been on shows like Law and Order and CSI. Here's the link to his IMdB page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0540164/
He and his wife Cas Donovan (a director) live in Hamilton during the summer months and host a documentary series at the local theatre every year! How cool is that??
Also, he was wearing orange Crocs... I always notice footwear, LOL! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

Here, we call them "Foppa-tofflor" after swedish hockey player Peter "Foppa" Forsberg, who were the one who introduced them on the swedish market. Just a little trivia....
They are really comfortable, but kind of ugly... I have a bright pink pair! |
