It IS a second family! I can't wait to get here, to see who has posted what, and what is going on with everyone.
And, I like that we're all different ages, and from different places, it makes it much more interesting.
And, WE, the Rickman girls are not dysfunctional, it's our families around us, we all get along just fine! Laughing

But, I agree, we are a little obsessive, or we wouldn't be here, would we??

Tom Hanks, really?? great actor, but...
one girl, my age, at work said one day how she thinks Jon Bon Jovi is pretty hot, then she said, but so does my 12 year old daughter, she said, there's just something wrong with us both thinking the same guy is hot!!
(I think he's pretty hot, too!)

Bon Jovi is alright..I like his music more than his looks. I love the song Living on a Prayer. It's great..

Im a big fan of Jon Bon Jovi! not half as hot as Alan but I love his music!
I also love coming on here to check whats new with the Rickman girls! and yes so great teh age range is so vast and we are from all over! If it werent for Alan chances are we would never have met each other!

I suppose this is the appropriate thread for this...

I'm feeling pretty happy right now. I just started moving stuff into my new flat (I won't be living there until it has been professionally cleaned - the cleaning company didn't turn up, but they are coming monday) and we were talking about pictures for the walls (we have a lot of wall space). Basically, I jokingly said "let's put a picture of Alan on the wall" (they know how much I love him) and they said "yeah, sure, go for it." I was so pleased that I might have one blown up, framed, and put in one of the hall ways. I think the reason they were cool with it was that the guy is putting up this print of Kate Moss (which is awesome and arty) and the girl is putting up a Johnny Depp framed picture. So now all I need is for my boyfriend to pick one and we are set. So woot! Any suggestions what picture? Weirdly, the picture I might want to put up is that gorgeous one of him bowed over a chair, in black and white, which is my avatar. You can't see it's Alan though... but it's beautiful!

So, yeah, answers on a postcard!

Is this photo from a film? the SLOW one? If not I wonder whether Alan realizes how much he gives away with photos like that. It doesn't look as if he is shutting someone out, it is as if he is including only one person, the one who is looking at the photo. Does that make sense?

I think if the man doesn't like to be called a sex symbol, and is uncomfortable with that whole image, then he should stop with the pictures like that, because what the hell else are we supposed to be thinking when he poses like that!?
(Really, Alan, don't stop posing for the pics, I didn't mean it!! Shocked

Yes, Marie, I agree, some people just "exude sex" as they say in magazines, and Alan is one of them, he always has been, and is even now at his age!

Hey, I haven't seen Kat around here for a little while...
Has anyone else? Confused

She usually posts almost everyday, hope everything is OK!
Maybe she's just too busy with her new guy! Very Happy

but, I miss her input, she usually has something fun to say.
(I could have just missed her, but I usually read every new post...)
