Wow! This is the first time I've read or heard about Dame Maggie Smiths illness. That is shocking...it hasn't been on the news at all. Let's hope she pulls through soon.

I'm also sending lots of big hugs to you, and also a cup of tea with lots of chocolate biscuits. My thoughts are with you and I hope that there is something that we can do to help. (even if it's only the comfort provided by our Alan-madness!)

I'm sorry to hear that. You'll be in my prayers, and if you need anything from us girls, just yell. we're good at listening, and hopefully cheering up.

That's great news!! Good luck!!!

My husband took up the bass at the end of last year, and he sounds pretty good now, so go for it!!!(It's something he always wanted to do too)

You'll soon be jamming with the best of them!! Smile Smile

Lorraine

It sort of puts everything in perspective, doesn't it?
Boobs aren't everything (although they are nice to have) but compared to being healthy, there is no choice is there?
Chemo may not be easy, but there are things worse, and you sound like a strong person. Just remember the treatment doesn't last forever.
But, not one thing can compare to staying healthy and being there for your family...
and I'm sure you're going to become a terrific bass guitar player! Laughing

Bass is my Passion, I am sure once I have one in my hand I wont ever put it down!!
My hero Steve Priest (know to his fans as the guv'nor)
<----- has just formed a new band and will be touring this summer in America, I only hope he will tour here in britain next year so I can see him 'in the flesh' Twisted Evil He will just have to put up with a one breasted bald woman bouncing around in the front row!!
