Hello Lorraine, it is nice to have you back!

Could some of you US Divas let me know whether the dates 1811 - 1874 are dates from your history books? I think it has got to do with the war of independence but I am not sure. Maybe they are related to something quite different. Why would US pupils wear t-shirts with those dates on them?

this helped. I tried google myself but did not get anything that made sense.
Chang and Eng Bunker could be the answer. I am rading the book by Darin Strauss about them. Not that ther are photos of school kids in the book. Coincidences like that keep turning up in my life. I start doing something and all of a sudden references to that come up at the most unlikely places. Well, I recognize references that I would not have made out otherwise.

Sorry about the double posting, but I have a happy anouncement too concerning babies! No, I'm not pregnant, but a dear friend of mine, (we have known eachother since seventh grade), is! Very Happy

She and her husband have been married for two years now, and they have been trying to have a baby for over a year and a half, so they were getting worried that something was wrong. But apparently it wasnt and now they are expecting a baby in january!
I am really happy for them, they are gonna be great parents!

@Marie: sounds like the perfect timing. January is a great month to have a baby. A friend of mine had a baby last year, a boy, it was also a January baby. Capricorn people are usually very clever and very strong emotionally.
