Your Mum is right, Alan was a good looking guy when he was younger...
Now show her something like Snow Cake and she will admit that now that is more mature he is simply dazzlious. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

Well, I watched Die Hard last night, for the 1st time since I've become a "die hard" Alan fan (sorry, couldn't resist that!)
and, wow! Hans Gruber is so hot!!
I've always loved the pics of AR as Hans, and in my memories of watching it, I knew he was goreous as Hans, but WOW!
I love Alan at the age he is now, but he was really good looking then, too.
And, I do love that little goatee, and the classy way Hans dressed...of course, he is a little scary, a little psychotic...
His face, when he's hanging on to Bonnie Bedelia's hand there at the end, looks so evil!
LOVE HIM!

Hans is hot!!!!! And he looked so slim ( not that our boy is fat now). _________________ "Fools who wear their hearts proudly on their sleeves, who cannot control their emotions, who wallow in sad memories and allow themselves to be provoked so easily-weak people,in other words-they stand no chance against his powers!" |

I tried to watch it last night, too, Nora... but we were at my parents and my kids staged a massive protest!! "That man is too scary!!" And of course my mom played Grandma and sided with the urchins... So I missed out on it... _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. They said e was scary? Wow, I never really got that impression.
I loved this movie since the first time I saw it. It was the first movie that I started to get into Alan and his movies. I am sad to say that I don't own it yet, but I do get it everytime I go to the library!

There is not much Alan in the special features, there is a 'making of' section though which was interesting, especially the bit on how the stunts were done. Also a great game to play where you can 'produce' the scene where Hans shot the Japanese guy (sorry cant remember his name )!

He's not really that big on featurettes is he? He didn't do any for Blow Dry either, or next to nothing, which was a tad dissapointing. He's a man of few - but extremely intense - words. _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |
