ok, I'm not even sure if I want to see the film due to my devotion to the books, but I'm still interested, so I've been checking mugglenet.
Warner Brothers have announced that the tailer for the half-blood prince will be available online on aol on tuesday. Heres the link to mugglenet if you'd like to see the story:

If anybody would like to know what Narcissa is going to look like...
http://www.garyoldman.info.preview7.oxito.com/forum/index.php?topic=1382.450
it is reply 450 on page 31.
And I really like it. She looks such a piece of work. She looks like Lucius equal which I never think she would be. This is going to be interesting. Just imagine these people. Bellatrix, Narcissa and Severus, and Wormtail of course. This should be so big. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

Interesting, Skittle, but you're right... there weren't a lot of characters shown...
It was interesting to see Dumbledore as a younger man, tho, and young Tom Riddle reminds me of my nephew!! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

I'm so excited! The books were a huge part of my teenage years, so I understand why many people will hate the films, but I try to judge them on their own. _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

Ooh!! Soooo exciting!!!! I love hearing the theme music...it sends a shiver down my spine!!!
I read the books in tandem with seeing the films, so I have no real preference to be honest! I love both!!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

| I'm a bit like Velouria, the books were a big part of my teenage years, my escape books if you will. That does make it difficult for me to watch the films because I imagine it so differently. I saw the first one years ago, and then saw the fifth last year when I was getting so excited about the last book that I needed a fix from somewhere. I actually thought Order of the phoenix wasn't a bad attempt. It is a huge book and it's impossible to get everything in. Still, being a die-hard fan of the books, there were little errors that really get to me because of how easily they can be fixed. From the sounds of it they have changed too much in Half blood prince for me to see it....... |

Today Alan was giving interviews in LA. When the earch quake began he kind of went "Oh not again." Poor man, he should stay in London where he is safe. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

Oh no! I hate the thought of him being in an earthquake!
As for the trailer, it is interesting indeed, but I wish you could have seen a bit more! It was fun to see Dumbledore in "normal" clothes though!
But no HP trailer is complete without Snape... |

I've got some bad news, Divas.
Half-Blood Prince delayed until July 17th, 2009

I don't mind waiting for a movie for the sake of a longer post-production phase, improving the quality and everything. But I don't see how the summer is a better time for a new movie than the winter. I mean, it's cold, the weather's bad, you can't sit outside in a café any more - it's a better time for a new movie than the winter, isn't it? Maybe it's just me. _________________
