I sure hope we will! He have had so few scenes in the film so far, but those scenes are of course the best ones by far! Snape has been doing a lot of "standing around in the background", so hopefully that will change now! |

its very hard for the film makers to fit evrything in but I wish Snape had been in more throughout the movies just to lead up better to the last 2 books. But then I guess they didnt know when the films first started so I will let them off _________________

I admit they didn't know then, but they had done a very poor job with movies 4&5, wich are based in 2 of the most important books in HP series. And these 2 books are key to Snape's character, and they'd forgotten that.
So I'm not expecting great movies for HBP and DH, unless WB reconsider and put some more Snape in them.
But they're right now saying that it's very possible that they cut Scrimgeur from the script, and he's a pivotal character in 6th book, so I'm really expecting nothing good... _________________

Well to bring back to perspective and please forgive me do remeber these are Harry Potter books not Severus Snape books so they are doing the moves from Harry Potter's perspective not Severus Snape's.
Unfortunately there are more Harry Potter teeny-boppers than sophisticated Severus Snape fans. _________________ Benalinae |

Now that is going to be interesting to see what Helen McCrory is going to do about Narcissa Malfoy. _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

Well, happily our Alan worries have been allayed. Helen McCrory is definitely not who I envisioned for Narcissa Malfoy. I agree with Magenta- it will be interesting to see how she plays it. _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

I am happy. But honestly I cannot see Alan giving up such a part, only two steps from completing the series. And he put so much into creating Snape, he simply could not do that. And it is not really a burden to play Snape. And snape gives him the freedom and the space to play all sorts of other parts, Alan would be really daft to give up on it. (As long as there are no personal reasons like someone getting too ill and giving up on acting at all, of course.) _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over.

Well, I have no idea who Helen McCrory is , I will have to google her... Thought that Naomi Watts was gonna play Narcissa, but I guess I just havn´t been keeping up...
I really don´t see why Alan wouldn´t do the last HP-movies, unless -like said before- he got ill (God forbid!) or something terrible like that. |

Not sure if this is the right place to share, but I cam across it on my Harry Potter board and thought I'd share.
Alan is out promoting the hell out of Sweeny as we know, but in this interview he shares some thoughts on Half Blood Prince.
Enjoy!!!

So Alan is going to be filming HBP for 7 weeks. With a high budget film you may expect about 2 minutes finished film per day. So there could be 70 minutes of Snape. Even if they cut out half of it, there will be 35 minutes. Of course there will be the "Unbreakable Vow" with Narcissa and the Dumbledore's death, but I think there is room for a few more scenes... _________________ Alan Rickman('s) Acting touches nerves you have absolutely no control over. |

i just read on mugglenet.com that today holds a couple of Harry Potter birthdays...
Emma Watson is turning 18.
Emma Thompson is turning 49.
I just love these two! Happy Birthdays!!
