While most of us do our best to abide by unspoken netiquette, the community is growing by leaps and bounds and I just wanted to lay down some ground rules.

1. Be polite. I don't really think I need to remind any of you about that. But now it's official.

2. Please keep signatures down to no taller than 150 pixels.

3. Please credit the icon maker for your icon. Just put a little line in your signature saying something along the lines of "Icon thanks to (insert site/LJ/etc. here)." I know many of you are using icons from the site, so just either credit me as madamtorsion or the site itself.

4. If you want to post pictures, be my guest! However, please do not hotlink them! You can use sites like Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us) or Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) to host the images for free. Also, if they stretch the page horizontally, size them down.
