Actually, there were two on Friday, both were pretty spectacular though. Massive bonfires at both. Potential loss of life, you know, the usual. In the town where I grew up (about 50 miles from here, sad) they had the usual July 4th fireworks display every year. One year, all the fireworks went off on the ground, shooting every which way! All the town big wigs were diving under cars and running for their lives! No one was seriously hurt, but after that, Fairfield didn't have another fireworks display for about 10 or 15 years!! Chickens! Everyone had to go out of town to see fireworks on the 4th! Nora (who is amused by the oddest things!)
