I read a very short book last week called "By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept" by Canadian writer Elizabeth Smart. It was first published in the 1940's and is a biography of her life with her lover. It is written in prose which is something I have always loved. It was heart breaking to read and, although our situations may be different, there were elements that each and every one of us could relate too. You could actually feel her soaring elation and wretched anguish. It is now one of my most favourite books. Just had to share this with you.
