I have just finished watching this on youtube, the last bits of it is finally up. I really liked it, thougt it was really sad. I knew before what would happen to Alans character, some genious wrote it in a comment on an early episode, and I kind of guessed what the twist would be.
Still, a very good movie, Alan was superb, and I also really liked Hugh Grant, not his usual kind of part.
And it was kind of fun to hear Alan speak of "Mr Potter" Laughing
And did I mention how totally hot Alan looked the whole time, even as Captain Hook???!!!

You are very welcome, Jackie! Watching it on youtube is not as good as actually having it in the dvd-collection, but still - better than nothing!

Thanks for reminding me that the end was finally on youtube. I watched it last night - it was sad. I kinda figured out the twist from the clues throughout. I don't know whether I will buy it or not though.

Well, there is not too much Alan-time. But he plays a charmer and I quite like O'Hara. Sad and I won't let my under age nieces watch it. But there are films you would get more Alan from for your money.

For me...it's important to see anything that Alan has been in....even if it's only a little part. I am constantly thrilled by the variety of characters he has played in his career.
Obviously the more Alan the better!!! but I'd like to watch this...I've only seen the first 3 10 minute episodes, cause other people want to get on the PC....how annoying...I'll have to watch it in full tomorrow when they're all out!!!!

That's the spirit. I think it is an interesting film and Alan was very charming. Hugh Grant tried himself at serious stuff, but that is not his forte.

I find it difficult to like Hugh Grant...every character he plays is Hugh Grant....he has no depth to his acting....whereas Alan, as we know is so deep and multi-layered. He can play anything and anybody...and be believable!

Well, I've finished watching it now....and I really enjoyed it. It was very sad though, and I never saw the twist coming.......although thinking back, there were plenty of clues!!
The anguish that Alan's character must have felt.....how awful.....I nearly cried as much as I do when I watch TMD....that gets me every time!!
I thought it was extremely sad at the end when she's talking into the telephone.......
