While snooping around @ SWARF, I found a thread about art that Alan himself has done, including a couple of self portraits and a link to this page, which is where one of them came from. This lady has all kinds of pics of AR, including some of behind the scenes of Mesmer of Alan taking pics (very sexy with long hair and lots of hands!), and famous paintings with AR put into them! She asks that no one copy her stuff, so I'm putting up a link:

so, anyhoo, this was on the SWARF board, and did NOT say it couldn't be copied, and there isn't a copyright on it, so here you go. It is a self-portrait of Alan, as you can see, don't know from when, but I think it is very good! (Jackie, my hubby says your drawing is better!!)

(if anyone is offended by my using this, I apologize, but it didn't seem to belong to anyone, and I'm not making a profit or claiming it to be mine, just sharing with other Rickman lovers!)

Tell your hubby thanks for the comment!!! I've probably spent more hours looking at Alans face in the last year than he has in his whole 62 years!!!!! Laughing

I think it's great!!! His art is almost effortless. I spend a lot of time rubbing out and redrawing. He's got the confidence to draw in pen!!

The website contains links to very interesting things done by Alan. I really enjoyed looking at them. And I love his "I am going to tell what I think" attitude. It would be very interesting to share a workroom with him.
