Been on Google again!
found this:
Actor and director Alan Rickman is confirmed to direct Strindberg’s Creditors, in a new version by David Greig, which runs from 25 September to 15 November (press night 30 September). Rickman’s previous directorial outings include My Name Is Rachel Corrie at the Royal Court and Playhouse, and The Winter Guest at the Almeida. As an actor, his many films include Truly, Madly, Deeply, Robin Hood, Love Actually, the Harry Potter films and Sweeney Todd.

So, Lorraine, Velouria, Jacksl, and Skittlebunny can be in charge of re-con on this mission! Go to the Donmar Warehouse-with many cameras in order to get all angles, and stalk Alan for us!! (Did I leave out anyone else based in the UK?? hope not!)
Don't forget to wear trench coats and sunglasses! He won't suspect a thing! _________________ ~~~Nora~~~

Listen guys, I know England is small in comparison to the USA, but it's not just around the corner for me....It's like a 6 hour drive (at least)....and you can't park in London, so it's pointless driving there anyway....I suppose I could go up by bus.....I'll have to look into it!!! _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

If I can afford it, I might go. Covent Garden is probably 45 minutes on the tube from my house, which isn't too far. It really is a financial thing. I have £25 to last me all week, which doesn't stretch far in the capital! _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

jacks,
LOL! I'm not making fun sweety, really I'm not, but here in Canada we drive 6 six hours or more just to visit friends for the weekend. I remember once telling everyone in a B&B one morning over breakfast somewhere in England (can't remember where exactly) that I was driving to Edinburgh that day and they thought that I was out of my mind because it was a 4 hour drive. I only stopped once on the way there to eat, pee, and book a room for when I got to the city. When I got there everyone thought I was nuts for driving so far in one day. Let me tell you if Alan was within 6 six hours of me here I'd be there yesterday! But we're all pretty used to having to do that sort of thing if there is something we really want to see in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal etc. The truth is Diva's that I'm already looking into a trip to London for late Sept., early Oct. A friend of mine will be in Paris the end of Sept. and I thought I could spend some time with her then head to London (and elsewhere as well; I have friends I'd visit in Stafford). I damn well deserve it after the last couple of months of hell I've been through. I double damn well deserve to try to at least get within the same country as our lovely Mr. Rickman at the same time as him for at least a day! If it comes together I'll give you all fair notice (or warning? ). _________________

I know you're not joking....it's all relative, and what you're used to!!
My hubby, my dad, and my mum have driven me up to relatives in Scotland, and that's a good 10-12 hour drive from here....so I'm used to long journeys,...just not driving them myself...(chicken)...But if you were to come over to England Nora...I would make the effort to get to London, and I'd love to meet you!!!(I'd just probably go by bus!!) _________________ Alan Rickman...*sigh*... enough said.

Well, that was Semp that's coming over to England, but if I ever get to, I'll let you know!!
I'd love to!
And, I agree with Semp, to me a 6 hour drive isn't so bad, it's all relative.
but, money is a big deal! I can't always afford to do the things I want.

I thought that we had discussed this. It's not stalking, it's Alan-based research! And, by the way, I'm totally gonna get in on that action! _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

I've never 'researched' a celebrity before. As I may have mentioned in the past, I used to have alot of friends in the music business back in the late eighties and early ninties who gave me free tickets and passes. I got to meet a lot of my idols back then. But I have no connections to the theatre or movie business that I can think of so we Divas would have to get very creative in our research. I'll say this for myself though, I do have nerve! I'm sure we could get close enough at some point to get photos and autographs without doing the 'papparazzi' or 'invasion of privacy' thing.
Questions for the journalist and media types out there:
| Quote: | | press night 30 September |
Sounds rather obvious I know but What does this mean exactly? What kind of venue would it be at? Who would be there that would be considered press? _________________
