Hello everybody,

in the end of the last year I happened to find a particularley wonderful story. Although I am not a friend of this special pairing (Hermione/Snape), I only can say, that this story is really, really very good! All characters are very much in character, what makes it a real pleasure!
The writer has recently updated (26th chapter), the story will have 27.
If you are a H/S fan - you will probably know it already. If you are not - try it! It's worth it!

Have fun!

I have to say I had the bad idea to click on this link.
Thanks to you*, I've been reading all night and went to sleep at 6:0o am. And I didn't even finish it.

I think you're right, this is a really good story - though I'm not at all a SS/HG fan myself. This is CAPTIVATING ( and often very frustrating too >.> )

Very very good.
But make sure you have lots of time.

*Ok, maybe it's my fault above all D:

I started this one long ago... I can't remember when I stopped keeping up with it... guess I'll have to read it all again. Drat. Wink

I have absolutely no problem with Hermione and Severus, provided she's of age. Their minds would work well together, given the chance.

I am a devotee of the good ship Granger-Snape. This story is probably one of my absolute favorites in the 'ship, along with The Fire and The Rose, Pawn to Queen and Soul Searching.

I used to read a wonderful story about them, but it's in French...
It's called La Braise sous la Cendre, on Fanfiction.net
If some of you can read French, read it, it's an amazing story - there's not only romance, but there's a great plot. The author ( Satai Nad, I think ) is so talented.

I am absolutely a fan of Hermione/Snape. I even write my own, though they're not family friendly.

I love that couple and have done for four years.

Ah, those are all great. Definitely in my top ten SS/HG.

On another note: If anyone here by any chance haven't read the amazing 'Falling Further In' by KazVL yet, I urge you to go and do so now. It's sadly not finished, but well worth a read anyway. Wink

I started reading Falling Further In when it was first being written. Care to refresh my memory?

Oh, and how could I forget - the monstrous The Phantom of Hogwarts. That story is up to something like 59 or 60 chapters now.

Oh, I love The Phantom story! I used to follow it and wait for each update, but it's been a while since the last update, hasn't it? It's hilarious. And beautiful. And I do love long stories.

Falling Further In... (It's been some time since I last read it now too.) Hermione has lost her parents, Snape gets 'assigned' to talk to her and she starts seeing him in a different light. He doesn't realize that she wants him at first, but then they, well, get together and... stuff eventually happens (think I might have to go and re-read the last chapters myself). If I'm not mistaken, the last posted chapters ended rather badly.

What I love about this story is the way Snape is portrayed. And the relationship between Hermione and Snape is written in a very realistic way. And oh, I love Lupin and Sirius in this story as well. Wink Falling Further In was the story that first had me hooked on this pairing.

Heck, I think I'm off to read it again now!

Do you happen to have a link for it? I have no idea which site it's archived on.

For me, HG/SS is the only pairing I really like... I'll read some HG/RL but the Snape fan in me loves the HG pairing Hehe

There's so many good stories out there. I've beem reading like a mad woman on Ashwinder, The Restricted Section, The Petulant Poetess and Adult FanFiction.

I think anything by Southern_Witch_69 is pure gold! You can't go wrong with any of her stories... but I'll see if I can find some really good ones and post the links. I more like the raunchier kinda stories (Hermione is ALWAYS above age in the stories I read)... dunno why really but I do.. hehe.

I never cared for stores that hooked Hermione Granger and Severus Snape together. It just doesn't seem right to me. After all he's suppose to be in his 30s and she's only in her teens.
