What would I do without you all.
Even if the going gets rough you make me feel better.
I hope there is nothing too dire for everybody else.

Ok, so I figure this is the best place to share this terrible story....
Today is my bill day so I always sit down and pay my House payment water, heat, electric, stuff like that ....My House payment alone is 2,500. 00 Two diffrent loans...plus I'm single struggling on my own with this ( god only knows why I bought this house for only me and my dogs). So today I go to pay my highest house payment which is 2,100.00 due every 15 th. When I looked at the bill it said I owed over 4,000.00...OMG!!! So I try to fiugure out what happen cause I know I paid it. Well turns out I paid 2,100.00 plus 400.00 to my second home payment and nothing to my larger first loan. How did I do this ...by clicking on the wrong bill on my online banking. So I had a total melt down and cried for a long time and have no idea how im doing to do this. As well as hoping they don't send this to my credit agency. Although, I do have saving it is just about enough to cover this terrible mistake leaving me with nothing to fall back on. Now I have to wait till moring to see how my Mortgage company is goning to deal with this and praying they wont send this to my credit report. Hoping no other major money disaters happen in the mean time. I was just getting on my feet...I feel like everytime I get up I get knocked down two steps... What day
Thanks for listening
(gonna go open a bottle of wine and cry in my pino)

OH dear, and there's no hope of getting the extra $2100 back from the other loan co.? because it was a mistake?
Or maybe you are paid ahead many months and can get away with not paying them for awhile and send all your money to the more expensive one?
I hate it that just when I think things are going well and we are getting caught up, something comes up, and we are behind again, or have a huge bill, a big car repair or something like that...
Hope it works out OK for you, DeAna!

DeAna you poor thing! Money is a horrible necessity. I hate that I need it to live. But, whatever happens, it's just money. As long as you have your health, family (dogs) and friends the money-grabbers can't get you. I'm a student and I'm pretty nervous about my future right now. I need to get a job very soon - I graduate in May - it's a scary world out there, but we have each other. And chocolate. Chocolate makes it all better.
I hope that you feel better tomorrow and this nasty business gets sorted out xx _________________ :.*My Flavour Of Choice? Alan. Of The Rickman Variety*.: |

Beautiful, Semp... I think that cheered us all up!
I'm sorry to hear about the money situation, DeAna... I hate having to need money to live. I think the economy really has everyone down. It costs so much just to buy food and put gas in our cars! Between the horrible winter this year and the sad state of economic affairs, I know I have been feeling depressed.
I hope everything works out in your favor... I'll be sending good karma your way! In the meantime, take care and know we're all hoping for the best for you! _________________ I want to swim in both directions at once. Desire success, court failure. ~ Alan Rickman |

So update ....I talked to my 1st Home Mortagage and they said there was nothing they could do. On top of it they said they would have to report it to the credit company because it was over thirty days... My 2nd Motagage were alttile better and said that they would post it as payments made ( Thanks Nora for the idea) and I wouldn't have to pay till Aug...which is better than nothing so I guess there is a postive that comes out of it. As for my savings well guess I'll have to start from the begining but being able to talk to all of you ladies and all your support...really does help. Glad I have this place to come to too vent over life and drool over Alan...

OK, so now you can add the extra from the smaller mortgage payment back into your savings to replace that.
Is there anyway you can have a letter or statement added to your credit report stating why you were late on that payment? sometimes they do things like that (I think I've heard of things like that) at least that would help explain, and it wouldn't look like you just skipped a payment.
